Recently, nine members and one visitor caught the 166 bus to Plumpton Railway Station, where we started our 5 mile walk on a pleasant dry, mild day. The walk took us along one side of the racecourse past Plumpton College and through a couple of fields. After we passed the Half Moon pub, we crossed over to Plumpton Lane and continued the walk towards Warningore Farm. On his gravestone was the inscription, "Raymond was not a normal person" by Connie Benjamin.
