On Sunday 26th April, a lovely sunny day, nineteen of us met outside the Southover Sports Club. The circular walk to Iford and back was just under 5 miles. It took us about two and a half hours with a stop at Iford Church, a Grade 1 listed building, founded in 1090 and one of the oldest churches in Sussex. It has remained largely unchanged for over 900 years. The walk was dry underfoot which is always welcome. We heard lots of birdsong which was most enjoyable. The walk was led by Zena.
