Data Protection and Privacy Policy, June 2018

• The data held by the committee is solely for the purpose of communicating with members about walks, holidays and events organised by the committee
  for the group and about other matters pertaining to walking in the Lewes area. It will never be disclosed for marketing purposes.
• When a committee member steps down from the committee, they will destroy all records that are in their possession.
• All data will be held on computers which are password-protected.
• If membership lapses, the member’s data will be deleted one year after the most recent membership is due.
